Police appeal for witnesses after Brightons blaze

A fire in a Braes village at the weekend is being treated as suspicious by police.

The blaze broke out at around midnight on Saturday in 22 Douglas Avenue, Brightons.

Police say they are keen to speak to anyone who was in the area at that time.

Detective Sergeant George Hastie said: “We urge anyone with information to come forward. Anyone who was in the area at that time and saw any persons acting suspiciously is asked to contact us as soon as possible.”
