Falkirk’s 19,000 families are being urged to buy and cook healthier food after research showed a third of Scots are eating ready meals three times a week.

A Scottish Government survey shows home cooking is declining, with more people turning to convenience foods and takeaways due to more daily pressures.

But now, the government has launched a new campaign which offers tips and advice to help parents make better choices.
