The Falkirk Herald’s Summer of Love campaign has caught the imagination of firms across the district - and now readers can join in the fun.
Over the past few weeks, we’ve been urging people to help the Falkirk area’s economy by spending their money in local shops and restaurants.
And to provide an extra boost we’ve been offering some great advertising options to help business as they take advantage of the green shoots of recovery.
Now we’re focusing on all that’s good in our community in a unique project timed to coincide with the Longest Day on Friday.
We’re going to be out and about throughout the day shooting videos of everything from sunrises to people walking in our parks. We’ll then package them together and make them available to view on our website.
But we also want to give you a chance to take part.
All you need to do is take a short video clip - 20 or 30 seconds on a mobile phone will do - and send it to firstname.lastname@example.org.
We’ll feature as many as we can on our website at www.falkirkherald.co.uk and you can also follow what we’re up to on Twitter using the hashtag #longestlocalday.
As it’s a project to mark the Longest Day, all videos must be taken on Friday and, because we want to have them online that evening, they need to be with us no later than 2 p.m.
Go on, make sure you make you mark in our Longest Day!
For those business who haven’t advertised with us for a while, the Summer of Love campaign runs throughout June. To take advantage of our offers, call (01324) 690219 or e-mail email@example.com.
