IN PICTURES: Snowy Falkirk

Road conditions were treacherous and the red weather warning meant many businesses and facilities closed early.

For children it was a ‘snow day’ as schools and nurseries were closed.

But it wasn’t all doom and gloom, with some making the most of the snow and having some fun.

Our photographer Michael Gillen was out and about in the Falkirk area capturing some snowy scenes for us at the Falkirk Herald.
