In pictures: Cops and co have fun at Kelpies
Emergency services personnel were out in force for some holiday fun at Helix Park last week.
Police, firefighters, ambulance staff, red cross members and a host of other highly trained professionals put on displays at the Helix for Emergency Services Day on Wednesday afternoon and gave out advice and information to anyone who requested it.
Visitors young and old looked on at impressive rescue missions which took place in the icy waters of the Helix pond, caught various dog handling exercises from Police Scotland and got up close and personal with the force’s equestrian division.
