Apex Vets held its annual fun day and the charity event was another big success, raising well over £850.

The reptiles, including snakes and lizards, returned to the store and customers were given the chance to hold the animals, learning all about them.

Over 1000 people attended the event and over 100 clients enjoyed a tour of the surgical suite.

Director Douglas Paterson said: “It was a fantastic day and surpassed all expectations!

“We raised in excess of £850 smashing last year’s total. A big thank you to everyone who made the day a massive success.”

A variety of charity stalls were also on display and children were able to enjoy face painting, a bouncy castle and pony rides.

This year the money raised from the fun day will go to Strathcarron Hospice and the Bandeath dogs shelter fund.
