Police officers, firefighters and ambulance staff gathered in Falkirk town centre for another exciting Emergency Services Day.

Held in the High Street at the foot of the Steeple, the event featured members of Police Scotland, the Scottish Fire and Rescue Service, Scottish Ambulance Service, British Transport Police and the British Red Cross giving demonstrations of road traffic collision rescues using cutting equipment and other skills they use on a daily basis.

Representatives from all the services were on hand to give people information about their role in the community and a canine fire and rescue service employee almost stole the entire show.
