Staff at the Dogs Trust in West Calder are hoping to mark the 200th anniversary of the battle of Waterloo by finding a home for a determined French Bulldog named Napoleon.
The mini mutt came to the rehoming centre in February when his owners were no longer able to take care of him and has been searching for a loving new home ever since.
Manager Susan Tonner said: “Napoleon is looking for an experienced adult home who will help him settle in and become part of the family. He can be a little vary of strangers so would happily live in exile without any visitors.”
