Many families are already placing drawings and designs in their windows to give people out exercising or walking their dogs something to look at and brighten up their day as the social isolation phase of the COVID-19 crisis continues.

The Falkirk Herald is asking readers to take this creative streak to the next level and design an epic Easter egg or an Easter-themed display which they can then place in their windows for everyone to enjoy.

The pictures will then be displayed online for readers and followers to vote for the one they like the most.

The design or display which gets the most likes/votes will be named the winner, get a story in The Falkirk Herald and, most importantly, receive an Easter surprise full of tasty treats.

The closing date for entries is Thursday, April 9, so we can deliver the surprise package to the winner in plenty of time for Easter Sunday.
