Wedding of the week: Gillian Esplin and Daniel Wright

Gillian Esplin (32) is a civil servant while Daniel Wright (35) is a Border Force agent. The couple are from Denny.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met each other while they were on holiday in Bulgaria.

THE PROPOSAL: Daniel proposed on July 1, 2013 at Loch Lomond.

THE WEDDING: The couple were married on September 8, 2019 at the Three Kings. The newly weds were joined by 70 guests during the day and 100 guests in the evening.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Gillian’s sister was her chief bridesmaid, Michelle Esplin who was accompanied by two other bridesmaids. Lisa Mackie and Kelly Paterson. Daniel’s best men were Samuel Hodgkins and Thomas Nolan. They were joined by an usher, Scott Esplin. The couple were joined by their twins who were there as their page boy and flower girl, four-year-old Ellie and Leo Wright.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple went away for a week to Gocek in Turkey. While there the couple just enjoyed each other’s company and relaxed in the sun.

THANKS: The couple would like to say a big thank you to all of their family and friends. They also want to give a special thank you to Michelle for doing the hair and Kelly for doing the make up.
