Wedding of the week: Ashley Hutchison and Craig Roper

THE DETAILS: Ashley Hutchison (27) is a team leader at a contact centre while Craig Roper (32) is a chef. The couple are from Grangemouth.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met in December 2014 at Winter Wonderland in Edinburgh for their first date.

THE PROPOSAL: Craig proposed at home in September 2016.

THE WEDDING: The couple got married at Macdonald Houston House. They were accompanied by 90 guests during the day and 180 at night.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Ashley’s chief bridesmaid was Stephanie Brown who was joined by a further five bridesmaids, Ashley Dougall, Cheryl Hutchison, Megan McLeish, Amy Marshall and Danielle Balderston. She was also joined by a flower girl, three-year-old Lucy Rilley. Craig’s best man was Scott Black who was accompanied by five ushers, Drew Anderson, Ross Haggart, Campbell Ogilvie, Lewis Nicol and Dean Simpson.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple left for their honeymoon on July 5, 2019 and went to Cyprus where they went to the water park and they attended different trips.

THANKS: The couple would like to say a big thank you to both sets of parents and to Emma Gray who was the photographer.
