Wedding of the week: Erin Petersen and Greg Boyd

Erin Petersen (29), is a hire and transport controller while, Greg Boyd (28), is a contract manager. The couple are from Grangemouth.

HOW THEY MET: The couple met through Erin’s brother. Greg was Erin’s brother’s oldest friend.

THE PROPOSAL: The proposal took place two years ago in June in Puerto Plata in the Dominican Republic.

THE WEDDING: The couple got married on April 13, 2019, at Cornhill Castle. They were accompanied by 110 guests during the day and a further 30 at night – and some alpacas.

THE WEDDING PARTY: Erin’s chief bridesmaid was Siobhan Sherry, who was accompanied by a further two bridesmaids, Rachael Lawson and Alexandra Rymsinova. Greg’s best man was Scott Wilson, who was joined by three other grooms men, Stuart Paterson, Erin’s brother Andrew Petersen and Erin’s cousin Corey Petersen. The couple also had a flower girl, three-year-old Emily Graham.

THE HONEYMOON: The couple have not yet gone away together yet but are due to go on their honeymoon at some point in May, where they will visit St Lucia.
