An emotional film of a dad singing with his daughter on a video call during lockdown has been shared to show how social care staff have gone the extra mile to keep residents and families in touch during the Covid-19 pandemic.

The video from CrossReach St Margaret’s care home in Polmont shows resident Andrew Tonner singing ‘Hello Again’ while his daughter June watches on-screen with a huge smile on her face.

The short video shows how staff supported residents and families to keep in touch when face-to-face visits couldn’t take place and the film shows how much it meant to both Andrew and June.
