Under the leadership of team captain Jacqueline Galbraith and featuring a star turn from little Poppy-Jane Duncan (2), who dressed up as a mini-Grinch, the Santa dashers galloped round the Helix – home of the world famous Kelpies – earlier this month to help coin in £3687 for the hospice.

Strathcarron, located in Fankerton, near Denny, is an independent hospice which cares for over 1400 people every year.

Jacqueline said: “The Hospice ensures people have every opportunity to achieve their goals right up until the last moment. To do this, it needs to raise over £12,900 a day to keep its services running.

“Taking part in the Santa dash, we had a joint goal to fund Strathcarron's services on Christmas Day 2020.”
