Update: Family make announcement regarding missing Bainsford Yorkie Skye
A family were distraught after their pet Yorkshire terrier never returned home from a walk and they feared she may have been stolen.

The 14-year-old dog, called Skye, went missing last Wednesday morning when she was out for a walk with her elderly owner in Dollar Avenue, Bainsford.
Alison Wilson, whose parents own Skye, believed the little dog may have been stolen.
The family reportedly discovered Skye wandering around in a neighbouring garden and she has now been reunited with her owners.
