The Killers re-schedule Falkirk Stadium gig and add new date

The Killers have had to once again postpone their gig at Falkirk stadium.

But the good news for fans is that they have re-scheduled for next year – and added a further date.

They also announced that the new date will feature support from Supergrass with tickets going on sale this Friday.

The band had been due to play Falkirk Stadium on Thursday, May 28 last year but were forced to postpone the show due to Covid-19 restrictions.

It was initially re-scheduled for June 8 this year.

However, today it has been revealed it will now take place on June 6, 2022 as part of the groups tour of the UK and Ireland.

The support act on June 6 will be the Blossoms.

The Killers have added an extra show at The Falkirk Stadium on June 7, 2022 as part of their Imploding the Mirage UK & Ireland Stadium Tour.

Along with this comes the announcement that the original gig that was due to take place on 8 June 2021 will now take place on 6 June 2022.

The new date will feature support from Supergrass, with tickets on sale from 9am on Friday, March12.

In a statement the group said: “UK and Ireland friends… We’re sorry, but there’s no way around this. These will be the same great shows, but we have to move them to next year. All tickets will be honoured, so we really hope you can still join us!”
