Sunny days: Crowds spend their time at Falkirk's Helix Park

When the sun comes out lots of people head to Falkirk’s open spaces.

Along with Callendar Park in Falkirk, Zetland Park in Grangemouth and Kinneil Estate, the Helix Park is a great draw for those wanting to chill.

And the youngsters making the most of the cool water in the Helix fountains were doing just that when photographer Michael Gillen popped by.

In the nine years since the Helix Park first opened it has attracted hundreds of thousands of visitors from near and far.
