The 1st Stenhouse Rainbows received £490 to contribute towards the costs of running a virtual sleepover at Christmas time.

Janet Marshall, from 1st Stenhouse Rainbows, said “After moving our weekly meetings online back in April, we were delighted to receive funding through the Todhill Windfarm Fund to hold a Christmas Virtual Sleepover.

“The Rainbows were so excited, with many of their other activities, the usual family traditions and other celebrations on hold, it was a perfect way to end the session – they had a brilliant time”.

The funding allowed 1st Stenhouse Rainbows to provide glow sticks and paper chains for the children to decorate their dens, plus snack bags for movie time and hot chocolate packs for the bedtime story. On Saturday there was a whole selection of Christmas crafts including melting snowman biscuits, reindeers, wreaths and mosaics.
