The annual walk through the Braes villages will not be going ahead on Saturday due to social distancing guidelines.
However, the Free Colliers will be marking the event with 12 of their members walking from their Reddingmuirhead lodge rooms at noon to the Redding Cross memorial where there will be a short speech and wreath laying ceremony.
They will also be having a virtual Pinkie March on their Facebook page.
Set up in 1863, the Sir William Wallace Grand Lodge of Scotland Free Colliers inspired 65 other lodges of colliers across the Scottish coalfields to be formed. However, only the Redding lodge remains in existence.
