Last month, the first ever Falkirk Fashion Week took place and one of the highlights was an event in the Inchyra Hotel, Polmont.

Organised by Lauren Ferguson, Sisters for Strathcarron was a fashion show showcasing the clothing and accessories available from her boutique in Lint Riggs, Falkirk.

Thanks to the support of Falkirk Delivers and other local businesses, including Behind the Wall and Tapestry AV, those attending enjoyed a show with all the glitz of Paris or Rome – and raised £7004.20 for the hospice.

Lauren said: “Approaching our 20th birthday I wanted to do something to celebrate and therefore Sisters for Strathcarron was born. It was a fantastic night which brought together local businesses and the community to raise a lot of money.

“The event kicked off what became a week of businesses networking in the town which became Falkirk Fashion Week and it’s really made a difference to all the businesses involved.”

Lynsey McLaren of Tapestry AV said: “We are proud partners with Strathcarron and more than happy to supply all AV management including stage, backdrop, lighting and sound complimentary for the event. I’d personally like to say thanks to our wonderful team of project managers and technicians who delivered a truly outstanding event in support of the hospice.”
