Retro Nostalgia 1991: Princess Royal is a garden party guest

Princess Anne is to be guest of honour at a special garden party in Falkirk to mark the tenth anniversary of Strathcarron Hospice.

The Princess Royal will attend the gala event in Callendar Park on Saturday, June 1, for hospice staff, fundraisers, friends and supporters.

While in the park, the royal visitor will accept the Freedom of the District in recognition of the work she has done for the hospice.

The garden party is to be held on the same day as Falkirk District’s Spring Fling.

After meeting those involved with the hospice, the princess will tour the charity market where cash raised will provide a boost for hospice funds.

The princess will pay an informal visit to Strathcarron Hospice prior to the garden party.
