While Sir Elton was the first music star to play a concert at Falkirk Stadium in 2012, last year’s gig by The Killers was the biggest crowd ever at the venue.
It was estimated over 20,000 people were in the three stands and on the pitch for the first two-hour long gig with a similar number back the following evening for more..
Lots of those who attended had spent hours queuing to ensure they had prime spots to hear their favourite band – including some who pitched up at 10pm on Sunday to camp out overnight.
