She led them all in a singalong of Vera Lynn’s We’ll Meet Again during last Friday’s celebrations.
The planned commemorations throughout the UK had to be cancelled due to the coronavirus pandemic but it didn’t stop people up and down the country organising their own events while following social distancing guidelines.
Barbara, dressed for the occasion in a silver dress and matching boa, made sure that everyone in Redding Street where she lives marked the occasion in style.
