£50,000 emergency funding for two Falkirk organisations
It came from the Scottish Government’s £2.1m Youth Arts Funds to help ensure children and young people continue to have access to creative opportunities in the wake of the pandemic.
Falkirk Community Trust received £30,000, while Impact Arts got £29,000.

Hide AdThey were among 92 organisations supported in the announcement from Creative Scotland.
Colin Bradie, interim head of creative learning, said: “These funds will provide access to funding for young people directly and support employment opportunities for over 700 people, including over 450 artists and freelancers to deliver a wide range of vibrant projects for children and young people.”
Fiona Hyslop, Culture Secretary, said: “We know that young artists in particular may struggle when faced with fewer opportunities during the pandemic which is why we are also continuing to nurture future talent by encouraging them to develop their creative ideas and ambitions.”
