The inaugural event, held at the hub in Greenpark Drive, brought live music, local heroes and a full programme of activities to the area, with organisers keen to give the community a day out to remember. A host of local organisations helped play their part in making the festival a success.
Keep Scotland Beautiful and not-for-profit venture Recci-Mac, which focuses on reclaiming and remaking materials, both took part, while The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) encouraged attendees to get involved in a bioblitz and offered the chance to learn sbout the ancient art of scything.
Burntisland Hedgehog Haven also made an appearance, sharing surprising facts about Scotland's spikiest garden visitors and selling merchandise in aid of the animal rescue charity's work.
With the first PolmontFest now behind them, organisers will be hoping the big turnout and positive community spirit created on the day can help turn it into a regular celebration.
