Dog owners have been urged to keep their pets under control after reports of attacks on livestock across Forth Valley

Police are investigating reports of sheep being attacked by dogs being walked on farm land.

Forth Valley Police reminded dog owners that they are responsibility for their dog and its actions.

They must be in control of their pet at all times - and if it attacks, or is involved in worrying livestock, this is a criminal offence and owners may be subject to prosecution.
