Police hunt for witnesses following fatal collision in Forth Valley area

A road traffic collision involving a gas tanker and a motor car resulted in the death of a female motorist this morning.
The incident happened just after 11.15am on the A811 near Arnprior village in the Stirling area.
A 39-year-old women, who was driving a silver VW Golf, was pronounced dead at the scene and her family has now been informed. The driver of the gas tanker was not seriously injured.
Sergeant David Ross, of Forth Valley road policing, said: “We’re appealing to anyone who witnessed this or has any dash-cam footage to contact us on 101 quoting incident number 1088 of February 25.”
