Pet of the week: Guinea pig Ginger

Ginger came to live with Briahna Carr-Gillespie (8) in Falkirk just over a year ago.

His exact age isn’t known but it is thought he is around three years old.

Briahna loves him so much, taking care of him every day and talking to him regularly as he lives in the house.

Ginger has an amazing sense of hearing and can hear the fridge door opening when his owner goes to get his lettuce and he squeaks excitedly.

Ginger is also quite a lazy guinea pig, preferring to sit and watch the world go by than actually run and jump around.

He is mischievous and knocks over his bridge every day.
