Owners offer £500 to find missing Airth dog Cassie

A little Lhaso Apso dog called Cassie went missing in the Airth area yesterday after being frightened by a passing cyclist and now her owners are asking people to keep an eye out for her.

Cassie’s owners and their friends and family were out late into the night yesterday searching for her in the Airth, Letham, Carronshore, Carron, Larbert and Stenhousemuir area.

Cassie was off the lead while out a walk near Letham Terrace in Airth yesterday evening when a cyclist passed near her and she took off running after the bicycle.

The last sighting of Cassie (8) was CCTV footage of her running down the farm road to Letham Terrace at 6.30pm.

Cassie’s owners said: “We have been told she will probably be hiding somewhere now, so can people please check their gardens and garages if you live in the area.”

The owners have offered a £500 reward for whoever finds her.
