In pictures: Sun shines for Inchyra Park family fun day

A family fun day for the whole community was organised by the Friends of Inchyra Park and the Inchyra Spitfires Youth American Flag Football team.

There was plenty on offer allowing locals and visitors to enjoy a fun afternoon.

With inflatables, face painting, fundraising stalls, crafters stalls, music, games and refreshments there was something to keep everyone entertained.

There was also the chance to take part in rugby, gymnastics and American Touch Football taster sessions.

Organisers have hailed the fun day a success.

A spokesperson for the Inchyra Spitfires said: “A massive thank you to everyone who came out to support our joint fun day with the fantastic Friends of Inchyra Park.

“It was incredible to see our whole community come together for a day full of fun, laughter, and great memories. Events like this remind us exactly why we do what we do.

“Huge shoutout to all the volunteers, families, and organisers who helped make today such a success.”

Adam Gillies, from Friends of Inchyra Park added: “Thank you to everyone who came along and it certainly appeared everyone was having a great time. The sun shone and an excellent turnout – what more would you want.”
