In pictures: Remembrance events in Grangemouth, Denny, Bainsford, Bonnybridge, Camelon and Bo'ness

Across the district communities came together on Remembrance Sunday to pay their respects and honour all those who had died in active service.

Names inscribed on war memorials from battles fought more than 100 years ago to those who fought in more recent conflicts, including Iraq and Afghanistan, all were remembered.

In towns and villages, poppy wreaths were laid at memorial stones by veterans of the Armed Forces, as well as by schoolchildren and members of civilian and youth organisations.

The poignant two-minute silence was observed across the district to remember and give thanks for all those who laid down their lives.

Our photographers were at Grangemouth, Denny, Bainsford, Camelon and Bo’ness, with images contributed from the Bonnybridge service. But in many other places simlar services took place.

Lest we forget.
