In Pictures: Grangemouth remembers its fallen heroes

It was an emotional Sunday morning in Grangemouth as the town took the time to honour Armed Forces personnel who made the ultimate sacrifice and photographer Michael Gillen was there to capture the poignant moments for all time.

The Grangemouth parade, organised by the local branch of the Royal British Legion, left the Legion’s Dundas Street base just after 10am and marched along South Lumley Street, Newhouse Road and Abbots Road to Abbotsgrange Church for a Remembrance service.

The parade then headed along Dalratho Road to the cenotaph in Zetland Park for a wreath-laying ceremony.
