Falkirk Herald photographer Michael Gillen braved the bangs to capture some top class mass disruption in the skies above historic Callendar House as thousands of Bairns young and old congregated to witness another gunpowder powered celebration of Guy Fawkes’ failed plot.
Featuring some bangers of another variety from Mr Firework himself, DJ Craigie P, the crowds were kept well entertained as they approached the final countdown to blast off.
Like last year, the fireworks display was organised by Falkirk Council to ensure members of the public have a place to go to enjoy fireworks locally in a safe, controlled environment.
