There was lots of interest in the Falkirk Older People’s Day held in Falkirk’s Howgate shopping centre earlier this week.

Over 150 people turned up at the event organised by Falkirk Older Peoples Network, Solicitors for Older People Scotland and Falkirk Deliver s, to celebrate older people and the opportunities that a longer life brings to individuals, families, and society.

More than 20 organisations were there offering advice, support, and a friendly face, including the Royal National Institute of Blind People, Royal Voluntary Service, University of the Third Age, Scottish Seniors Computer Clubs, Strathcarron Hospice, Police Scotland, and Fire Scotland.

A Paracise exercise class also proved popular with lots of people taking part
