People in Bo’ness should be celebrating the biggest event in the town’s annual calendar today.

However, the pandemic has wreaked havoc with plans for the 2020 Bo’ness Children’s Fair Festival as it has with many other events.

Organisers have postponed the crowning of Queen Elect Lily Harvey until August 28, when a ceremony will take place behind closed doors, streamed online for all to see.

But townsfolk will have to wait until 2021 for the full Fair Day experience.
