Let’s Talk About Grangemouth and Skinflats has come up with a socially distant and totally safe way for youngsters to enjoy this spook-tastic time of the year without ever creeping out of their own domain.

Families are asked to carve a pumpkin – or draw a picture – and place at their front window or in their garden, effectively creating a “pumpkin trail” in the town.

Participants are also asked to take photographs of their creations and then send them into the Facebook site.

The family whose picture gets the most likes will then win a tub of sweets which will be delivered to their door – at a safe social distance of course.

Open to all residents of Grangemouth and Skinflats, the competition closes on November 1.
