The voluntary organisation, whose mission is to make Grangemouth’s Inchyra Park a public space the community can be proud of, had planned to hold an Easter egg hunt in the park on Easter Sunday, April 12, but government restrictions put an end to that.

In the run up to the event businesses and people kindly donated scores of chocolate eggs for the Easter Egg hunt which were stored in the local charity shop NU2U.

Adam Gillies, of Friends of Inchyra Park, said: “We decided to donate the 300 Easter eggs to Falkirk Council’s social work, who will make sure they reach the children who need them by Easter.”
