Kersiebank Community Project (KCP), based in La Porte Precinct, Grangemouth has teamed up with Helix Hotel owner Nawaz Haq to provide the burger treats.

A post on the project’s Facebook page stated: “The generous Nawaz Haq, owner of Helix Hotel, has noticed we gave freebie lunches to kids and our Golden Oldies but none to our fantastic parents/guardians who are all doing a fabulous job homeschooling.

“So next week parents/guardians homeschooling get free Helix inside out burger, chicken burger or veggie burger.”

Helix Hotel owner Nawaz Haq has once again teamed up with Kersiebank Community Project to help the local residents

Mr Haq, who has appeared on the popular Channel Four television show Four In A Bed, allowed his Kerse Road hotel to be used as a temporary venue for KCP’s food bank last year.

Details on how to get a free burger will soon be made available on the KCP Facebook page.
