Gala day name change for Grangemouth bridge
Grangemouth Community Council has been given the go ahead to rename a local bridge in honour of the event which passes over it every year.

A community council spokesperson said: “After consultation with Falkirk Council and support from our councillors and the Grangemouth Children's Day committee, we have been granted permission to have the bridge on Kingseat Avenue named The Children’s Day Bridge.
"We have plaques being created and hope to have everything in place for this year's gala in June.”
