Fundraiser for Reddingmuirhead fire family tops £1000 in a matter of hours
A family in Reddingmuirhead suffered a devastating loss when their home caught fire during early hours thunderstorms.

The blaze at the house, believed to be in Reddingrig Place, happened after it was reportedly struck by lightning during the massive thunderstorm which hit the area last night – and led to a butchers shop in Brightons also catching fire.
An online appeal was set up for the family by friends and neighbours and has so far raised over £1200 from over 60 donors.
