Cameron Wilson (17), of Stenhouseumuir, will take part in the first online Young Scot awards on August 13.
The awards, now in their 14th year, recognise extraordinary young people aged 11-26 who improve the lives of people in their community.
Just before his 11th birthday, Cameron was diagnosed with Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma. Over a five-year period, he battled with the disease and in S5, passed five Highers all at Grade A.
