Football club's food donations are a real result for hospital patients

Local amateur side Bo’ness United FC might be temporarily out of action as far as football is concerned but it has not stopped them delivering the goods for patients in Forth Valley Royal Hospital

The team collected together tasty treats and toiletries for the patients, who are no longer allowed visitors due to the coronavirus crisis, and a local nurse kindly collected the box of goodies to take it into FVRH today.

Youngsters connected to the club also played their part by donating tablet, coconut ice, macaroon and fudge bars they normally go door to door to raise funds for the team.
