Bean ‘n’ Biscuit, run by Fiona Hobson, is a self proclaimed “cafe on your doorstep” and visits people’s homes. bringing beverages and tasty home baking directly to them.

Last year Falkirk mum Fiona had been working as a chef for Inception Catering based at The Peak sports centre in Stirling. However, lockdown put paid to that and she started entertaining people with her musical talent rather than her culinary skills, putting on piano recitals of tunes including Axel F by the Crazy Frog.

After that the Bean ‘n’ Biscuit van headed to Cobblebrae Community Woodland in Bainsford to serve a “pupuccino” to a 17-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier.

During the Bainsford stop an impromptu Easter egg hunt took place which helped to raise almost £100 for MND Scotland, Bean ‘n’ Biscuit’s nominated charity, which helps to provide care and support to people affected by Motor Neurone Disease (MND), as well as funding vital research into the condition.

People can visit the Bean ‘n’ Biscuit Facebook page for more information on how to go about booking the fun mobile cafe to come to their street.
