Falkirk's Cats Protection shops excited to welcome back customers as restrictions ease

A Falkirk charity shop that aims to help protect cats is reopening its doors on Monday as retail lockdown restrictions ease.

Cats Protection charity shop has been busy preparing to welcome back customers, with measures in place to ensure their safety, and that of the staff, including limits on the numbers of people allaowed inside, and hand sanitising stations.

The shop will also be accepting donations of good quality second-hand clothing, accessories, books and bric-a-brac.

Opening hours will be 9:00-5:00pm Monday to Saturday, and shorter hours on Sundays.

Ian Trotter, area retail manager, said: “We can’t wait to welcome back customers after such a long time.

"The safety of our staff, volunteers and customers is our highest priority and previously introduced safety measures will continue to be observed to help prevent the spread of coronavirus.

“It is great to know that we will once again be able to support the work of our network of volunteers in helping cats and kittens in need.”
