As of today Dionne’s self-penned tune Won’t You Be Mine For Christmas is sitting at number two in the Amazon UK best selling singles chart.

The popular Falkirk singer orginally recorded and released the song six years ago and decided to re-release the Christmas classic to help Maggie’s.

Dionne said: “Even if you already have this on your Christmas playlist – I know a lot of people do – all the sales and royalties are going to Maggie’s Firth Valley this year, so why not download it again and know that you’re doing something amazing to help the charity during the COVID-19 crisis.

A spokesperson for Maggie’s said: “Maggie’s Forth Valley is here to help with money worries, questions about treatment and provide support for the stress an anxiety people are experiencing. Even if all someone needs is a chat, then they are there for that too.

“So we hope you love Dionne’s song as much as we do – it’s a Christmas belter.”

Dionne’s single is part of the Worldwide Santa's Christmas Eve Jingle – an idea to get everyone around the world out on their doorstep at 6pm on Christmas Eve ringing bells and bring back the Christmas spirit in a year which could certainly use a little Yuletide cheer.
