Falkirk folk can virtually have a good time in Stirling on Hogmanay

The current COVID-19 restrictions on mass gatherings means Stirling’s Hogmanay on the Castle Esplanade will not take place this year as Stirling Council has taken the tough decision to “scale back” its annual New Year’s Eve event in order to protect the health of the public and traders.
Instead, Stirling’s Hogmanay will be beamed directly into people’s homes, with entertainment coming from venues around the city at various times.

Hide AdThe council’s annual firework display will still bring in the New Year with a bang, just without the massive crowds gathering together to look up and watch it.
Lighting up the sky directly from the National Wallace Monument, the showcase will instead allow residents from across Stirling to view the fireworks from the safety of their own homes.
