Falkirk Council will reinstate the burgundy and blue bin uplift service from Monday
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
Blue and burgundy bin collections had been suspended for a number of weeks, while Green bins were being collected as normal on their four-weekly cycle, with householders also allowed to put two bags of refuse out for collection along with their green bin, to make up for the lack of blue and burgundy bin uplifts.
Residents bin calendars are expected be updated to reflect the newly reinstated services from late afternoon tomorrow.

Hide AdCouncillor Paul Garner, Falkirk Council environment spokesman, said: “We really appreciate everyone being patient and tolerant as we have worked to restore our recycling service.

There have been detailed discussions with Trade Unions in order to ensure that our workforce is meeting the relevant national guidelines to ensure their safety as well as that of residents.
“We know our employees are working hard to continue to deliver this vital service and it has been encouraging to see many messages of support given by communities across the area.
“From Monday, April, our recycling bin collections will restart following the usual pattern so households can place their bin out for collection on the day they normally would. From late Friday afternoon, our online bin calendars will be changed to reflect the collection arrangements and these can be checked online via our website.”
