The majority of Falkirk Community Trust’s facilities have been closed since Christmas due to the ongoing pandemic.

However, with the Scottish Government’s easing of lockdown restrictions from April onwards, the reopening plans have been announced today. All four major sports centres, including the Health and Fitness clubs at the Mariner Centre, Stenhousemuir Gym, Bo’ness Recreation Centre and Grangemouth Sports Complex will reopen on Monday, April 26, allowing access to swimming pools, gyms and for adult non-contact sport activities (non-group activity only).

The gym at Bo’ness will reopen on 26 April, however the trust recommend booking early as capacity has been reduced to allow customers to exercise safely.

The Grangemouth Stadium gym will also reopen on Monday, April 26 from 5pm-9pm and will operate on Monday – Thursday evenings on a pre-booked basis.

Whilst indoor fitness classes will not restart in April, outdoor and online fitness classes are continuing to take place.
