Easter Bunny goes shopping in Camelon

The fluffy creature stepped out on Good Friday to do some last minute shopping for Easter eggs.

She was in Home Bargains and Aldi – observing the social distancing rules, of course – to pick up some chocolate treats.

Wearing the costume was Karen MacAllister and she travelled from her home in Windsor Road, Bantaskine to bring some Easter cheer.

Daughter Alana explained: “She saw someone down south had dressed up as a dinosaur and went to Tesco wearing it.

“She was gutted as she said ‘why didn't i think of that! I'm going to do an Easter theme to lift peoples spirits’.

“A friend bet her she wouldn't do it and anyone who knows my mum knows she will do anything within reason and never backs down from a bet or a dare.”
