Denny boy (10) near end of marathon effort for Strathcarron Hospice

A ten-year-old boy is approaching the finishing line of a marathon effort on behalf of a palliative and end-of-life care facility.

Logan Craig (10), of Denny, is just six miles away from completing his Marathon in May challenge for Strathcarron Hospice.

The Kirkintilloch Olympians runner was eager to fundraise for the charity after its staff cared for his grandmother and has so far coined in £1300.

Proud uncle Scott Cameron said: “Logan knows about the care Strathcarron gives and knows they’re struggling.

“With lockdown, he wanted to do something for a charity and he and his sister Amelia did a 5k for heroes and made t-shirts.

“He asked what he could do next and said he wanted to do a full marathon in May!”
