Logan Craig (10), of Denny, is just six miles away from completing his Marathon in May challenge for Strathcarron Hospice.

The Kirkintilloch Olympians runner was eager to fundraise for the charity after its staff cared for his grandmother and has so far coined in £1300.

Proud uncle Scott Cameron said: “Logan knows about the care Strathcarron gives and knows they’re struggling.

Logan Craig is pictured with his sister Amelia. The pair completed a 5k in aid of NHS workers.

“With lockdown, he wanted to do something for a charity and he and his sister Amelia did a 5k for heroes and made t-shirts.

“He asked what he could do next and said he wanted to do a full marathon in May!”
